Terms of Service

Lavaan & Lights offers a personalized Punjabi & Sikh wedding blueprint ($99 CAD, one-time) and a shop of digital planning guides. The blueprint is generated from the details you provide, combining our own planning rules with an AI writing step.

Your blueprint and our guides are informational planning tools. They are not legal, financial, religious, or professional advice. In particular:

• Budget figures and timelines are general estimates, not guaranteed prices or quotes.
• Vendor information is gathered from public sources and should always be confirmed directly with the vendor before you book or pay anything.
• You are responsible for your own decisions, contracts, and payments with any vendor.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and are charged at checkout through our payment processor, Stripe. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours and that the information you provide is accurate.

Our refund terms are set out on the Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms.

When you purchase a blueprint or digital product, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own wedding planning. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or publicly share the files you download.
• Reproduce our content for commercial use.
• Present our materials as your own.

We retain ownership of our templates, content, vendor database, and the blueprint engine itself.

Please use the site lawfully and don’t attempt to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or misuse the forms. We may suspend access for misuse.

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the planning guidance. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.
